Level 1 - Practice Usual Precautions: Travelers to Mauritania and Senegal should:

Prevent mosquito bites by using EPA-registered insect repellents
Wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants
Avoid contact with livestock, particularly during birthing or slaughter
Do not consume unpasteurized or uncooked milk or meat products
Seek medical attention if you develop fever, headache, or muscle pain during or after travel
