Level 1 - Practice Usual Precautions: All international travelers should:
- Be fully vaccinated with the MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) vaccine
- Infants 6-11 months old should receive one dose of MMR vaccine before departure
- Children 12 months and older should receive two doses of MMR vaccine (separated by at least 28 days)
- Adults born after 1957 who do not have evidence of immunity should receive two doses of MMR vaccine
- Be aware that measles is highly contagious and spreads through the air when infected people cough or sneeze
